I’m attempting to get back into drawing (not that I was ever particularly good at it, but I have gotten worse), although i don’t know if I can find the downtime to do some regular sketching, which is a must-do practice for me if I want to be able to draw anything properly. Here’s a sketch of MIR I made while zoning out listening to music over about 30 minutes.

My hand’s gotten very unsteady so this is an exercise in patience more than in skill for me at this point. Only reference used was a photo I had lying around on my desk.

I find space-borne structures are nice practice in sketching complex scenes due to the almost fractal level of detail they tend to have with all the small objects covering their surfaces.
